"Yoshka was a well-loved part of the Google community and enjoyed posting on the Google blog and welcoming visitors to the Mountain View Googleplex."
The Original Google Top Dog
Long before Google became the technology giant the world knows today, Yoshka was already walking through its offices alongside his owner, Google engineer Urs Hölzle.
Yoshka was a Leonberger who joined Google's early community in 1997. His friendly personality quickly made him more than just a dog at the office. He became a familiar face around the company, welcoming visitors and becoming part of Google's unique workplace culture.
Yoshka eventually became known as Google's "Top Dog." His presence helped pave the way for Google's famous dog-friendly tradition, where employees could bring their dogs to work and make them part of the community.
